MESA, AZ -- Authorities said Sunday a man who suffers from Alzheimer's disease was located after going missing in Mesa.
Alan Nelson, 75, disappeared Saturday afternoon while his wife, Diana, went shopping at the Mesa Riverview shopping center.
According to Diana, Alan was too tired to go into the mall, so he stayed in the vehicle while she went shopping. Diana said Alan was missing, along with the car, when she returned to parking lot around 4 p.m.
Authorities said Alan was found and is safe. It is unclear where he was located.
