This is absolutely heartbreaking. But I have to consider that the best thing for this horse would have been for the rescue to humanely euthanize him. $14,000 can go a very long way to help MANY horses with brighter futures than one horse with a fractured skull and ringbone. $14,000 could help offset the expense of humanely euthanizing horses when the owners faced with such decisions cannot afford to humanely euthanize their horses and the horses end up with their heads bashed in by a 2 x 4 and abandoned. I wonder how many horses have been abandoned and left for dead yet to be discovered. This is sad all the way around.

Wish I could help finding the scum bags I would give the reward money to help with the horse's treatment instead. POS waste of breath don't deserve to live!

Well,I dont have any money to donate but I would gladly supply firearms and ammo for a firing squad to properly dispatch this digusting scum to his just reward.

If the F@#* jerk is caught that did this,I pray to GOD that their sentence is more then a slap on the wrist,or probation,They should have to pay for the rest of this Beautiful animals care,and of **** star quality, not to mention what ever it takes for whoever gets him/her,meaning, trailer,saddle,ect.. Animals and Children or so Innocent,I would Love to treat the person or persons involved in this case,the same way this animal was treated,Because I can only imagine.The condition of this Beautiful Majestic animal did not happen over night,And shame on anyone that knew or knows anything like this being done to any creature of God that is unable to fend for its self,I Know for a fact that someone recognizes this animal and knows who the puke that did this,Shame on you if you don't speak out because that makes you just as guilty and one of the same!!! I want to know what is being done to hunt down the owner?? He should get a personal visit from Sheriff Joe beating his lame sorry excuse for a life all the way to jail. This needs to be dealt with, and the owner should WORK OFF the amount it takes to care for and get this animal back to health. It makes me sick they take it out on the animals who are helpless, and cant defend themselves!! So Sheriff Joe, where is the justice for this poor animal!?? Lets catch these jerks and make an example out of them!
