CHANDLER, AZ -- At Chandler's Cornerstone Christian Fellowship you could say some of the parish is showing a more manly side.

On Thursday mornings the church is now offering services dubbed "Man Church."

Church director Bob Rauscher says he's offering the 15-minute service to husbands, fathers and single men hoping it will get them back into the leading the family instead of letting women be the breadwinners.

Rauscher said mothers and wives are doing a good job, but men have started stopped leading the family.

Rauscher said speakers will talk for a few minutes and the services will focus on serious issues God, marriage, sex and even porn.

"Issues that effect men," Rauscher said.  "This is not for wimps."

The services are non-traditional. There is no singing, long sermons or collection baskets.

"We don't want any money," Raucher said.  Between 50 and 75 men have attended the last few weeks.  The men are not required to be members of Cornerstone.

The church director says he hopes men will hear about their services and come check it out.

Services are held every Thursday morning starting at 6:30 a.m. in the Church's youth auditorium at 1595 S. Alma School Rd. in Chandler.  For information call 480-726-8000.

Women don't normally show up for Man Church, but Rauscher says if one shows up, she is invited inside.
