Chandler teen wins $2000 for public service announcement

CHANDLER, AZ – A Valley 14-year-old won the AAA grand prize in a public service announcement competition.

"I like to do this kind of thing, I like to do video, I like to edit, I like to do everything," said winner Kenahn Ghazel.

Most days you can find Ghazel on his computer, editing video.

"He is never around, he is always on the computer," said Kenahn's mom, Sahaw Ghazel.

His efforts paid off. He won $2000 from AAA for his video about texting while driving

"I am extremely proud especially because he did it all on his own," said Sahaw.

Other winners include 2nd place winner Elizabeth Vega. She got $700 dollars for her video. 

3rd place winner Kara Grace Dawson got $300 for her video.
