CHANDLER, AZ -- Jurors on Thursday convicted a Chandler mother of child abuse for not getting medical attention for her son after he was beaten by the woman's boyfriend.
In court paperwork, doctors said the 2-year-old suffered several broken bones and bleeding on his brain in March 2007 and that the mother had to know the boy was injured.
The child recovered from his injuries and is living with relatives.
Krank was convicted of criminally negligent child abuse.
She will be sentenced on July 31st.
