I know realtors who have their open house signs stolen from time to time. Crack heads will steal anything to try and get a fix. If your neighbor has a weekly garage sale theres a 50-50 chance their crack dealers selling the stolen goods traded to them by their buyers. Like the airport baggage theives.

that aside - this sounds like a kid prank by kids who are bored because they don't have to do their homework or clean their rooms or anything constructive. they are just wandering around doing stupid things because no one cares. is this about right?

Why am I not surprised for probably the fifth time to see an error or errors in these stories? This story has a spelling error.
