CHANDLER, AZ -- Police arrested three teens after a night of crime, according to authorities.
The male juveniles face various charges, Chandler Police Det. David Ramer said.
Ramer said two 16-year-old Chandler teens planned on burglarizing vehicles when they found a vehicle in the 300 block of E. Commonwealth with a key in the ignition. They took the vehicle and picked up a 15-year-old boy to continue their burglary plans.
The 15-year-old, also a Chandler resident, had a gun with him, according to Ramer.
The three suspects then burglarized a vehicle in the 1700 block of E. Camino Street, Ramer said, and after the burglary one of the 16-year-olds saw a resident standing near a front window of the home. The teen reportedly took the gun from the 15-year-old and fired one shot at the resident.
Ramer said no one was injured.
The suspects reportedly fled in the stolen vehicle to a field near Chandler Boulevard and McQueen Road and set it on fire.
According to Ramer, responding officers found the three suspects leaving the arson scene and all were taken into custody.
The suspects face a number of charges, including 2nd degree attempted homicide, Ramer said.
