Have you ever booked a plane ticket or reserved a hotel room to find out two weeks later that the prices have dropped? How aggravating!

There's a site that makes traveling a whole lot easier.

Yapta.com tracks your flights even after you've already paid for the ticket and the site sends you a red alert if the price drops, which gives you the chance to rebook or ask for a refund.

There are some airlines that charge you for trying to change your ticket and won't offer any type of compensation for lower flights.

But a lot of companies are making it easier to get that refund, like Travelocity.com.

They've started giving automatic reimbursements for people who book vacation packages on their site by May 31st if another person books the same flight for less.

Priceline.com has a similar promotion for tickets booked by June 1st.

And some airlines will offer you a voucher to use toward future flights.

If you've ever tried to use vouchers or travel miles, you know it can be frustrating because the times when you can actually redeem the miles is so limited.

Yapta can help with that too. The site also sends alerts to let you know when you can book an award seat for specific flights.

The newest tracking service on the site is with hotels.

Yapta
now has a hotel price tracking service. You just choose the hotel you're most interested in and you'll automatically get an alert when the price drops.
