Phoenix Police are investigating a sexual misconduct case involving a 26-year-old Cactus Shadows High School coach, and a 17-year-old female student.
On February 9, police learned that officials from the Scottsdale school received information that the student and the coach engaged in sexual intercourse at the coach’s Phoenix home. The coach is a temporary teacher, according to a police statement.
On February 12, detectives interviewed several witnesses at the school, and were able to obtain and execute a search warrant of the coach’s Phoenix residence. Several items of evidence were obtained by police, according to officials.
No arrests have been made at this time and the investigation is currently ongoing.
