Rapper DMX appeared in court Tuesday morning where he agreed to enter a guilty plea on four counts include drug, theft and animal cruelty.

According to the Maricopa County Superior Court, DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, pleaded guilty to one count of possession of narcotic drugs, a misdemeanor count of cruelty to animals, one count of theft, and possession of marijuana.

He is scheduled to be sentenced on January 30 where, according to the plea agreement, the other charges, including ID theft, will be dropped.

DMX was returned to Phoenix 10 days ago after he was arrested in Florida when he failed to appear for a Phoenix court date.

A deputy who flew back with the rapper, whose real name is Earl Simmons, said DMX told him how much he disliked Sheriff Joe Arpaio.

Some of the charges stem from an April visit to a Scottsdale hospital where authorities said the 37-year-old gave the name "Troy Jones" and an incorrect Social Security number to avoid paying $7,500 in medical expenses.

Back in May he was arrested for driving at 114-miles-per-hour on the Loop 101 on a suspended license.

The animal cruelty charges were filed after authorities found malnourished dogs at his Cave Creek home last year.
