Police seek help from public to find Chandler bank robber

Police are searching for the man in the photos after a bank inside a Chandler grocery store was robbed on Saturday afternoon.

Police are searching for a man suspected of robbing a bank inside a Chandler grocery store on Saturday afternoon.

The suspect allegedly walked into the Bashas’ near Chandler Boulevard and Dobson Road around 1:15 p.m. and passed a note to the Chase Bank teller demanding money.

Police said the suspect, who never displayed a weapon, fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a black male, between 20 and 25 years of age, and is approximately 6 feet 4 inches tall with a medium build.

The suspect was wearing black knee length shorts, green and white plaid button up shirt, a green colored fisherman hat, and sunglasses at the time of the robbery. 

The Chandler Police Department is encouraging anyone with information about this suspect's location to call 480-782-4130.
