Mesa police are searching for a man and woman who stole several music players from a shopping mall department store and threatened to shoot several security guards on Saturday.

According to a police incident report, the robbery happened just before 2 p.m. at Fiesta Mall.

A woman was stopped by security at Sears after she was allegedly spotted stuffing six MP3 players in her pockets, police said.

After the guards approached her at the store's entrance, a man walked up and told them to back off, according to police.

Security told the pair that they weren't going anywhere until they got the merchandise back, but then the man reached under his shirt and stated, "Do you want to get shot?" police said.

The suspects then reportedly left the store and drove off in a green Chevy Prism.

Officers later located the owner of the car, but the person didn't match of the description of the man or woman.

The owner said she let a friend use the car.

Officers do have a suspect in custody. However, they haven't released information about the arrest.
