JAHOOH - You're like Killzcats. You have some points, but no one will listen to a small minded person who talks the way you do. People like you just get dismissed as having a lump of oatmeal for brains. Now, go ahead and call me names too. Hello mikeh3k, when a society has so much regard for the life of cats in trees and the endangered snail darter and seemingly so little regard for humans (whether that be typified by legal abortion, the glorifications of gang activity, or being entertained by slasher movies ) then society has a real imbalance/sickness. You are on pretty weak footing to try to make people who are indifferent to a cat in a tree feel sick some how.

#1 I agree with AZSPECIAL.... #2 this fat shyt wasn't to concerned about the officer or his reputation before he got the news and everyone involved. he needs to be taken care of... hopefully the office files a defimation of character suit on this fat dip shyt, and charge him for the rescue of his precious fat shyt like him

If fireworks such as "whistling bottle rockets" were allowed during the winter season in Arizona, I know damn well that cat would get it's stubborn ass down quickly & 90% sure it would be unharmed,"just a little shakey"! :)

mikeh3K: I think the news about the 2 poor boys that were brutally killed being laid to rest or the article about the United Way setting up funds to help folks is a little more important than a story that should have stopped being a headline days ago. The cat is fine, the owner is fine and the cop is fine......move on...................

AzSpecial: What's more important - the Cardinals? How a society treats ALL its members, whether human or non-human depicts just how healthy that society really is. Bravo Michael !!!

Defacing an officers home over a cat is uncalled for. while i think the police officer should have handled the situation WAY better, I commend the owner of the cat for his words on the situation. Glad to hear all are ok.

I'm no lawyer, but couldn't the officer have had rescuers sign a liability release and agreement? Like "I'll allow you to access my property, and restrain my dog, however I can't be held liable for any injury or losses that might happen as a result." This is what happens when society becomes too lawsuit-happy and common sense goes out the window. If someone's cat gets stuck in my tree, I'll rent a cherry-picker and get the cat myself, not run out and threaten rescuers with my badge and gun. Maybe I'm not an average Joe, or maybe this situation has other details I'm unaware of.

enough already!!! Can't we all just move on to more important news??????
