Witness protection.....that's a joke. I don't want any imbeciles assuming just because I am from The Lone Star State that I am some redneck idiot! Hence the name change. Why do you answer questions with questions?

"She tried to paint her six years here as rosy," said Harper. "She's left the state in a fiscal crisis, one the Democrats are not likely to help us dig out of." What a foolish statement, the whole country is in an economic crisis. Now he/she could have said something like this...She never had the peoples interest at heart, education failed under her, she couldn't protect our borders blah blah blah! You get it.

"and we have come a long way toward this vision of safety, strength and prosperity." Texasman/rory, in reading your replies I can see you are easily influenced. Unfortunately its by the wrong people. Safety, strength and prosperity? Please. Did we not read just last week that a survey concluded Arizona's school system deserved a C-? Claims of decreasing crime are bogus, look at the string of bank robberies as of late. Unemployment rate the highest its been in a long time and a the state is out of money. Pull your head from the sand and start looking at the results instead of believing what you see on tv.

Nappy is such a joke. She left this state in turmoil with her drunken sailor spending. She is not qualified to head the DHS, not even to the employee breakroom. This country is in serious trouble with her in charge of defending our homeland....she needs to go to San Francisco and run for mayor. She will fit right in!

AZ RAIA first off I stopped drinking over 25 years ago; second is the President elect Barack Obama "koolaid" comment supposed to be some sort of racist remark. And as for you knowing so many Texans, who cares. The reason you do not know any Texans like me is because birds of a feather flock together. So I would not expect you to be friends with anyone that shares my views. And one more thing where the hell would you get any impression that I am a leftist?

AZ RAIA - 1/12/2009 4:10 PM
texasman, I sure hope that's the alcohol effecting your thought process, and that you haven't drank the Obama koolaid. I have many friends in Texas, none share your leftist idiotology (no, I didn't misspell it, its a new term).

She is a tool. Time will tell. I know nothing about Brewer and did not mention her name. This is about Nappy. Brewer will have to prove herself like anyone else. The last time we had a non-elected gov, was Jane Hull, who implemented that $800 million boondoggle propane conversion truck/SUV give away that we are still paying for in lost vehicle tax revenue.

texasman - 1/12/2009 11:59 AM
I am not being sarcastic SuperDave. What exactly are you implying? Are you saying Arizona Secretary Of State Jan Brewer is a much better candidate. Give me a break son! Governor Janet Napolitano was handpicked by our President Elect Obama. What an honor she has to serve our Country.
