I am a DUI defense attorney and I was very disturbed to see this story. All DUI attorneys know that hand-held breath test devices are not accurate. Heck, they are not even admissible in court. It is dangerous legally and a danger to society to rely on these devices to determine whether one is okay to drive. Even if the device is 100% accurate at the time of the test, a person could still be absorbing alcohol, think they are okay because the key chain said so, drive and get a DUI or kill themselves or somebody else. This key chain is the most irresponsible marketing device I have ever seen in a decade of practice.
