What happens to tickets mailed to people going 10 miles over before this change? Are they dismissed?

Alright! This means 75 in 65, Thanks Radarrover, knowing where these silly flashing paintball targets are will sure come in handy!

It's good to hear DPS is being a little flexible regarding the cameras. Hopefully over time they'll become more and more transparent about the issue. I started a site to try and provide information about these cameras at www.radarrover.com -- you can view maps of stationary cameras and also see mobile unit placements in various areas around the state. You can also get free e-mail alerts of mobile unit placements each day.

These cameras are illegal in California because of a lawsuit from a man who got his ticket in the mail and his wife opened it - instead of him being alone in the car, his girlfriend was in the picture so the guy sued. And won! All cameras on the freeways were removed after the lawsuit. Wonder how long it will take for this to happen in AZ?

HMM there sounds to be some inconsistancies in this story. Officers can still issue citations below thoes speeds of going 11mph over the limit. SO what they cannot issue a citation of thoes going 11+mph over the speed limit. Ok cool ill take the photo radar ticket then. But i would still much rather get pulled over by a cop an tell him that yes i was speeding yes i deserve a ticket so yes please hand write me one rather than get one in the mail with the chances of it being lost and lack of dignity. SO cops please come pull me over, id be more than happy to have you make sure that i drive safely and am not impared and that i dont have a warrent out for my arrest or by chance am illegal. so thank you to the state of arizona for not making our streets safer!
