My Neice took in a add for a PT Cruiser and they had to honor it. This was 6 months back. They werent happy but they did it. You just have to fight for it.

all you have to do is bring the ad, and if they dont honor it threaten them with false advertising, they dont like it when the b=media and the BBB come down on them

This IS too good to be true. Months back I went in to a Power dealership to take advantage of an 11K Sentra they had advertised for the past couple months in the AZ Republic. They notified me that they had none of the advertised vehicles left. At the time they were also running a "Buy a Titan get a Versa" sale. The salesman let on that they do not actually carry the models advertised (stock #). Thus they were not able to fulfill the promise from the ad. Shady. Shady.
