PHOENIX (AP) -- A holiday drunk driving task force has arrested 162 people suspected of driving under the influence.
The Governor's Office of Highway Safety says 40 drivers registered extreme driving under the influence, 13 were listed as aggravated-DUI drivers and 149 were misdemeanor DUIs.
The Thanksgiving, Christmas through New Years Day DUI Task Force enforcement started Thursday, Nov. 27 and ends Wednesday, Dec. 31.
Law enforcement officers are conducting saturation patrols, sobriety checkpoints and youth alcohol enforcement.
Task force officers are taking a No Tolerance approach to DUI enforcement.
