PHOENIX, AZ -- Job seekers can look forward to a little free help this weekend.
The University of Phoenix is offering a free community workshop on Saturday aimed at helping the Valley's unemployed brush up on their interviewing skills.
The unemployment rate jumped to 9.8 percent and the economy lost 263,000 jobs in September.

Stacie Garlieb, president of Successful Impressions, a local company that helps people with their career searches, will be providing tips on how overcome the challenges associated with landing a job.
Participants who attend the workshop will learn to write compelling cover letters, prepare questions for employers, and master in-person and phone interviews.
The seminar will be help Saturday, October 24 at the University of Phoenix from 10 a.m. to noon.
