PHOENIX – Phoenix police have identified a man who was found dead in a car early Sunday after being shot 'numerous' times, according to officials.
Phoenix Police Spokesperson Trent Crump said officers were called to a Phoenix neighborhood near 16th Street and Baseline Road at 4:10 a.m. by neighbors who reported hearing gunshots.
Responding officers reportedly found a man shot multiple times in a vehicle parked in front of a home in the neighborhood.
Crump said the victim is 29-year-old Joshua Scott Flores. Crump said Flores lived nearby, but there is still no suspect information.
The victim was found in a black Buick Park Avenue, according to officials.
Crump said police are investigating whether the incident was gang-related.
