PHOENIX -- Four people were transported to Valley hospitals after two vehicles crashed at a Phoenix intersection Thursday.

According to Phoenix police, two small SUVs collided about 12:15 p.m. at 7th Avenue and Baseline Road.

Police said there was a 49-year-old woman in one vehicle and three teen males, between 16 and 18 years old, in the other. A teen in the front passenger seat reportedly was not wearing a seat belt and was most seriously injured.

None of the injuries were life-threatening, according to officials.

Police said it was unclear whether the teens were on a lunch break from a nearby school.

The accident is under investigation.
