no need for bars on your windows when you have iron on your hip. i'm glad the hotties are ok.

He was sure a hero in this story. Wasn't for him the three women would of died. A person never knows how strong they are when things like this happens. And we are also glad the cops didn't shot him because in this case they would of felt really bad in shooting him my mistake and in this world yet they are still good people out there and he was one of them. And he is still a hero to anyone that saves other people from danger.

Darn right he's a hero, modest, and humble too. He needs to be honored by the city, its fire dept, and our governor as well. Not everyone would of done what he did! That's a fact! Yes, he should be recognized for his bravery and quick action. I want him as a neighbor too. Folks like him don't come around too often, and when they do they should be honored for such a good deed. On a side note: The bars are great to keep the "good for nothings" out, but there needs to be an emergency release option that the homeowner can flip or pull. Thank heavens all will recover, and many more thanks to Joe Lopez. Way to go JOE Lopez!

Joe Lopez is a true hero. Not only did he save 3 women from a burning home but pulling bars off a window in south phoenix with a name like Lopez is a dangerous ordeal in itself. Hes lucky the Police didnt shoot him by mistake.
