PHOENIX -- Officials say a teenager discovered the body of a man inside a car in a high school parking lot Friday night.
According to police at the scene, a 17-year-old girl looked inside the car parked at Horizon High School, near 56th Street and Greenway Road, at about 8:30 p.m. and could see the man's legs. She reportedly told officers the car had been there since 6:30 a.m.
Police have identified the man as 31-year-old Ricardo Estrada who they say borrowed a co-worker's car on Thursday and was last seen at about 9 a.m. Friday.
Phoenix Police Sgt. Andy Hill said Estrada was pronounced dead at the scene by Phoenix Fire Department personnel and detectives were called to investigate.
Hill said there were no visible signs of trauma and nothing to indicate foul play in Estrada's death.
The Maricopa County Medical Examiner's Office will determine the cause of death.
