PHOENIX, AZ – A man on a motorcycle was killed after colliding with a U-Haul van in Phoenix Thursday, according to officials.
Phoenix Police spokesperson Tommy Thompson said the 23-year-old Hispanic man was traveling westbound on Thomas Road near 79th Avenue when his 2004 Honda motorcycle collided with the van.
According to Thompson the van was traveling southbound on 79th Avenue turning onto eastbound Thomas Road when the vehicles crashed.
The man on the motorcycle was killed. The driver of the van was not injured officials said.
It is unclear at this time who was at fault in the accident.
