PHOENIX -- Officials say a motorcyclist was injured in a crash on a northwest Valley freeway Thursday afternoon.
A passenger vehicle and motorcycle reportedly collided on the westbound Loop 101 near 51st Avenue just before 4 p.m.
Arizona Department of Public Safety spokesman Bart Graves said the ramp to 51st Avenue is closed.
He said the motorcyclist was hurt, but it the extent of his injuries is not known.
