PHOENIX -- We first brought you the story of "Roo" about two weeks ago.

It seems that her owner abandoned her, most likely because she was born without her two front legs.

The little pup, now 8-weeks-old, has won the hearts of everyone she's met, including all of the folks at the Arizona Humane Society.

Because of the special care that she needs, one of the doctors at the Humane Society has adopted Roo.

And now, the spouse of one of the technicians there has fashioned a set of wheels that Roo can wear to help her get around.

The wheels have really enhanced little Roo's quality of life.

"Roo seems to have taken with it really, really well," said Dr. Nancy Bradley of the Arizona Humane Society. "She's learning to lift up on herself when she needs to change directions, stuff like that. She's getting strong, she's doing quite well."
