I am good friends with the family that lost their home and everything they own. No it was not intentional like its trying to be made out to be. The father is battling cancer and they have two children and now have to start over from scratch. They have my blessings and anyone that is willing or wanting to help with please do.God Bless!!!

Sorry to hear of someone else's misfortune. Question: Was this another plywood crackerbox padded in styrofoam? Why haven't your intrepid reporters reported on the flammability of that type of construction? Why does one never see a news story about the fact that insurance companies charge higher premiums for stick-built houses than for block houses because the former quickly self-immolate in a fire, while the latter survive with enough still standing to be rebuilt? And speaking of reporting, what happened at the church at 19th Avenue and West Orchid last night? Along about 9:00 p.m., at least 8 police vehicles (that I could count in the dark), a fire engine, and a helicopter descended on the place? Evidently a pretty serious incident happened there, maybe one that the people living around the place should know about. How come neither your illustrious news outlet nor any of your competitors (such as they are) have published a word about this?
