PHOENIX -- Valley Metro riders on one route are seeing one of their buses sporting a new color scheme these days.
The Valley Metro Board of Directors approved the new Valley Metro logo and color palette in 2008 after customers commented that the transit system needed to "revitalize" its image.
The new bus is silver with a green a purple design. The first bus will operate on various trips along routes 30 (University Drive) and 61 (Southern) beginning November 2.
Valley Metro staff will be distributing surveys to passengers on route 30 and 61 to help collect information and opinions about the cost neutral bus paint colors and design.
