City Hawk-- I usually share the similar opinion with you, but not this time. I am from Japan and became a US citizen in 2000 (I was never an illegal immigrant from Day 1 in this country). I am a very proud American. I learned English well enough to go to college and law school, has been working hard, paying tax, volunteering on the regular basis, etc. Although I am a not-so-young female, I am willing to fight any war for this country, if they need me. I obey the rules (though I have ONE speeding ticket in 15 years in this country), respect the law, and vote for every single election. I hope you'll change your definition of what "true American" is someday. I am a very proud and productive American citizen, and consider myself true American.

Brown? There were people from Canada, Australia, Germany, African nations, South Pacific Islanders, Mexicans, Spaniards. Representing 52 countires. Some enlisting in the US Armed Services after receiving their citizenship. I say welcome aboard to our new citizens.

Still won't stop Sheriff Douchenozzle from pulling them over for being brown.

glad they did it legally.

They may be legal but still NOT true Americans. I will still look down at them the same way I do all Mexicans. Filthy dirt cochroaches.

Dont need much more to say, everyone here has said it all here! My take is; take good care of America and America will take good care of you! Vote honorably next presidential election and help get us back a real American citizen back in the White House!

Yes, good job for the all of us who do it legally but where is the punishment to all those that don't and are still here, working, getting welfare, getting an education, etc etc. Doesn't really motivate you to do it legally, does it?

Great to see our new citizens are law abiding citizens, one's we can call our own. The illegal aliens don't have what it takes to be American citizens that's why they are illegal, they can not make the commitment it takes to be real American Citizen's! Enjoy your new found freedom, it may not last long! May your American dreams come true.
