PHOENIX -- Phoenix hosted The Indian School Block Party Sunday, and no one walked away hungry.
The businesses and neighbors from the Indian School Corridor near 32nd Street all took part in the second annual "Partners in Prosperity" event.
The event offered live music, great food, and a slider-eating contest.

Last year the winner ate 10 sliders in just five minutes.
Bob Pappanduros, owner of Chicago Hamburger Co., said his burger joint takes part in the block party for one specific reason.
“For us it's a charity event, my wife had bothered me about it for years. We raise all the money for the 100 Club, which benefits police officers and firefighters killed in the line of duty,” Pappanduros said.
Jed Donahue, winner of the slider-eating contest, hails from Huntington Beach, CA and was able to finish all ten sliders in exactly five minutes.
Proceeds from Sunday's event will also go to Saint Vincent de Paul and programs helping at-risk youths.
