PHOENIX -- Department of Public Safety officers were on the scene of a multi-vehicle accident around, with one rolled over, on a central Phoenix freeway around 5:15 p.m. Thursday.
Air15 video showed what appeared to be four or five vehicles stopped in the northbound high speed and HOV lanes of State Route 51 near Thomas Road.
Paramedics were seen treating at least one patient at the scene. The extent of injuries is unknown.
Traffic appeared to be backed up for at least a couple of miles but vehicles were moving past the accident scene.
