folk hero? yeah, robin hood -- taking from a "bailed out" corporation and sharing the wealth. the guy sure didn't seem to be living like a millionaire and, unlike the crooked banks he was supposedly scamming, it doesn't look like he's getting bailed-out. No doubt, the poor slob's sweating it out in sherriff joe's tent city.

He could have been a folk hero, squeezing money out of an evil corporation like AE that's been sucking the american people dry.

trkmch,Ive done it already so I dont worry much about it.For me,I would trade another year of living in a tent under my own terms and with a liberating sense of nothing owed and less to lose than many, for one hour of being in the pen or one of Joes tents for that matter. In fact,I dont think I could allow myself to be taken alive. In that respect I do what I can to keep that from happening by simply being an upstanding citizen.Thats the best option in my not so humble opinion. That last may be subject to reconsideration if I should catch a loser like this guy trying to take whats mine though.

With these charges against him it looks like he'll be set. 3 Meals a day, a training track, weight lifting facilities, lounges, and movies every night! That's right he's going to a Federal Jail for these crimes and the Fed Pen is the Nuts! He knew he was going to go away sometime and with the economic situation the way it is I'm thinking he figured WHAT BETTER TIME THAN NOW! Spend a few years with a GUARANTEED roof over his head and some food and then some ! PLUS !!! By the time he gets out things should be looking better out here and he can return to a normal life. He's basically by passing this hard economic time we are living in right now, and doesn't have to worry about being homeless now like the rest of us do.

Lock him up and throw away the key. What a winner AE hired, I was done with American Express years ago, and I guess he was too. Took what he needed and left. Good police work there, I hope.

in the "slam" for him.

iluvaz - 7/3/2009 10:17 PM

It's nice to know that the law is doing some credible work. Apparently he had been under investigation for a while. These guys are slow learners. Yeah, he got away with it for a while but eventually the piper has got to be paid.

He was only trying to pay his Visa with his Mastercard, and then his Mastercard with his American Express, and his American Express with his Discover Card. and .... It's not his fault -- he found the cards in a dumpster. Billy Bob, Goatrope, AZ
