PHOENIX -- A Phoenix man was arrested at Sky Harbor Airport last month after he was found with drugs and over 100 fake credit cards.

Timothy J. Curley, 43, was arrested June 24 as he was trying to board a plane.

According to court documents, officers found re-encoded credit cards in Curley's luggage. The fake credit cards were later found to contain information belonging to valid American Express card holders.

Curley reportedly was also carrying a card reader, over $5,000 in cash, a number of fake Arizona drivers' licenses and a laptop computer.

The computer had been reported stolen from American Express in August 2008 when Curley was an employee there, according to the documents.

Apparently American Express had reported that Curley is suspected of being involved in the compromise of over 1,000 account numbers which has been directly connected to over $1 million in fraud loss.

According to the documents, Curley was trying to flee the state when he was caught.

Curley faces dozens of charges, including fraud, 138 counts of forgery and drug charges.
