Phoenix PD: Woman stabbed in chest by estranged husband

PHOENIX – Police have just released details about the man who is accused of stabbing his wife in Phoenix on Monday.

Detective James Holmes with the Phoenix Police Department said officers are searching for 44-year-old Kenneth Hendrix, who allegedly stabbed his estranged wife in the chest around 12:30 p.m.

The 52-year-old woman reportedly has non-life threatening injuries and was transported to County Hospital.

The stabbing occurred at a home near 16th and Van Buren streets.

Holmes said police set up a perimeter in the area and are looking for Hendrix.

Hendrix is described as a Black male, 5 foot 11 inches tall, 155 pounds and was last seen wearing a black shirt with “Rocky Balboa” in yellow and blue jeans.
