pixiedust, I don't think anyone is celebrating that normal people like you are losing jobs, at least I am not. But I am very happy that the awful newspaper is now going to have to get rid of some of the management. I certainly hope that the picture becomes clear that since this horrible paper began being a Liberal political rag and quit printing news, that they have been losing customers. Sure, blame it on the internet, but the reality is that Gannett directed the end of the paper by making it garbage. I read the Wall Street Journal every day. I used to also read the Financial Times, but that became Liberal garbage too and I dropped it. Most of the large cities in America have rotten Liberal rags and they are losing business as a result. But the Libbies aren't intelligent enough to understand the cause and effect. Good luck on the job front, I don't hold much hope for you at the Repugnant. (You do know that is the common nicknames these days?)

Even the main stream TV news is losing their ratings and viewers. Despite their lies, that the majority of Americans are liberal facsists/socialists, America is majority center right and we vote with our wallets. You produce garbage, liberal, anti-American, pro-illegal invader, pro-gay, pro-choice (baby killing) propaganda and you will go out of business! Too bad you got caught up in it pixiedust. Maybe the employees could buy the Repugnant and turn in back to the Republic by printing news and not propagand and lies.

The only thing I do agree about is that the company went downhill after Gannett bought it out.

Do any of you realize how many people are involved if they were to shut down the newspaper. I have been a carrier for 15 years with the republic and I can tell you that just in carriers alone in just my warehouse would be approx. 300 people out of work. There are around 8 warehouses in just the valley. I am a single parent, and losing my job would be devastating. Just because some of you dont read the paper doesnt mean that nobody else does. I find you all very cruel at thinking its great for so many to be losing their jobs.

Good. It's obvious to anyone with a brain that this rag quit reporting "news" a long time ago and is nothing but a pro-illegal liberal mouthpiece that tries to formulate liberal agenda driven opinions instead of just reporting the "news".

Said that jobs are lost.....but if you didn't know that print is a dying media.....You won't make it in life. The Repugnant Sucks anyway.
