PHOENIX – The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office discovered a drop house in west Phoenix Wednesday afternoon.
According to MCSO, 30 suspected undocumented immigrants were found at the home in the 9200 block of West Serrano Street, near Indian School Road and 91st Avenue.

MCSO spokesman Doug Matteson said the department got a tip from a neighbor who had seen a lot of activity at the home recently, saying it appeared to be a drop house.
Matteson said when deputies knocked on the door, seven people were seen running from the house through a back door. They were caught.
He said there were possibly two human smugglers in the group.
Deputies found no furniture and little food inside the house, according to Matteson. He said there were just a few mattresses on the floor and all the windows were covered.
MCSO officials said during the past few days 113 undocumented immigrants, including the 20 taken into custody during Wednesday's incident, have been processed on state charges.
The investigation continues.
