PHOENIX - A crash on Interstate 10 near downtown Phoenix created some major traffic delays on Thursday afternoon.
For about an hour beginning at 2:30 p.m., the wreck blocked three lanes of westbound traffic in the Deckpark Tunnel at Central Avenue.
Department of Public Safety Spokesperson Bart Graves said the crash was an injury hit-and-run collision.

By 3:45 p.m., traffic was again flowing through the tunnel.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
