How about publishing the $ amount expended for her rescue? Was she on an established trail? Was she an experienced hiker? Was she exceeding her own ability and someplace she should not be? Do we have a STUPID HIKER law?

ouch, hope she is ok.... and before you baffoons get on here and start saying "stupid hiker law" ask you self this wuestion... have you ever bumped your head on a corner? or stubbed your toe? have you ever in your life made a mistake? if you have made a mistake then dont judge this lady. Life happens

glad it was just the ankle although to a hiker that's a very big deal.
