Who goes into a bank these days? I thought hard, and it must have been 1994 for me. Everything has been online since I moved back to the USA in Jan 1994; even mortgage papers are all sent direct to me. ATMs or grocery store check out for cash. Pretty much illegals and old people are what's left in a bank lobby. Oh yeah, and bank robbers. Not many old lady bank robbers, that leaves the White guy in the hoodie or the illegal whose only English is "Gib me aw u monies!" ;-{D

Better yet, why don't they arm every bank employee and give them a bullet proof vest. It's the banks policy to hand over the money in all armed hold ups. Most of these people wouldn't shoot a fly, they know it's the banks policy to give up the dough. Anyways, it seems like this is the new profession most people are turning to after they get fired.

Maybe the banks should close their face-to-face tellers and only use the drive thru with those pneumatic tubes that bring the money to your vehicle. Or station a security guard outside the entrance with a camera and a fingerprinting setup. May slow banking down and be a little hassle for us law abiding citizens but it would slow the bank robberies down.

My guess is that both robberies were done by the same guy. Think about it! After robbing one bank and loosing the police at one apt. he hit the other bank less than 3 miles away while the police are serching for him at the other location. But when hiding at the other Apt. complex they found him. Why can't they find the guy by the first apt.? Because they already have him after finding him at the other location. FBI? Federal Bureau of Idiots

Azldy8141 opps!! Thats canadian not candan. lol sorry.

Azldy8141, Did you read that article in Did you hear? It was a 80 or 90 year old candan woman that stuffed her mattress with money over the years. I think it was her life savings or her income and when her daughter bought a new mattress her daughter threw the old one away at the dump and their was over a million dollars stuffed in the mattress. I they found the mattress and the money. I tried looking up the story to be correct but could not find it but this is all I remembered reading. Sorry.

Azldy,I have mostly coinage left after paying bills these days.If I stuck it in my matress I would never get any sleep!I do have a well guarded piggy bank and I keep my investments for the future locked away in my gunsafe.

With so many bank robberies anymore, I guess I had better start keeping my money in my matress. I stand a better chance of keeping it that way.
