PHOENIX -- If you love getting a taste of new cultures, this Phoenix event is for you.

The Valley's Serbian community is celebrating Serbfest Saturday and Sunday in east Phoenix.

Organizers say the event features delicious homemade Serbian cuisine and pastries, live music and folklore performances, a kids zone and cultural items for sale.

Serbfest is being held at the St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church, located at 4436. E. McKinley in Phoenix.

On Saturday the festivities run until 10 p.m. and start again Sunday from noon to 8 p.m.

Admission is $2, but children 12 and under are free.
