Driver sentenced for wreck near Florence that killed 10

PHOENIX -- A federal judge in Phoenix has sentenced a Mexican national to 15 years in prison for his part in a deadly rollover that killed ten undocumented immigrants.
 
The U.S. Attorney's Office said 39-year-old Brian Guzman-Ochoa of Hermosillo, Mexico, was the driver of a vehicle that rolled over in the desert near Florence on August 7, 2008.

At the time of the crash, Guzman-Ochoa admitted he was driving.
 
Guzman-Ochoa pleaded guilty on April 20 to one count of transportation of illegal aliens resulting in death.
 
Authorities said Guzman-Ochoa was driving a sports utility vehicle toward Phoenix when he veered off a highway, killing nine people at the scene and another who died later.
