4Godlove- Are you really saying that because it was HARD to do things the legal way, that the authorities, community (and God) should let Raphael be above the law? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? The family that helped smuggle Raphael's wife and children in to the country and helped orchestrate all of the illegal activities should be behind bars as well. Willingly standing by knowing all of this was going on is just as egregious. Not only are Raphael and his family here illegally, HE STOLE SOMEONES IDENTITY AND PURCHASED HOMES AND VEHICLES using that ID! The ID of an elderly man that has since passed away. FOR SHAME! I don't care if Raphael was paying $1M per month in taxes and employed 1M legal Americans, he DOES NOT have the legal right to be in this country and CERTAINLY doesn't have the right to commit identity theft! Furthermore, the people that helped smuggle his family in, using passports of their own friends and family, should be locked up as well. Just because they are in the religious community does not make them above the law either. It is people like him, and defenders such as yourself, that are running this country in to the ground. You do not have the right to suppose that the immigration laws we have fought so long and so hard to implement, do not apply to you or others because being her legally is so hard.

It is very easy to judge when you do not know the whole story. Do you know that this person never depended on any welfare or health care services? Do you know that it is not true that his employees were not legal? He gave employment to Americans! He was paying monthly taxes based on his annual earnings that according to Arpaio was approximately 1.9 million dollars which is approximately $20,000.00 per month. Have anyone asked if he has tried to become a legal immigrant and got caught on the bureaucracy of the Immigration system that takes years to review a case? There is much more to this story than just what has been in the news.

And when the State has exhausted all the charges they bring against these defendants, I hope the Feds go after them for tax evasion, Federal immigration violations, etc.

On the Aracruz International Granite website, under the Aracruz's Customer Bill of Rights, it states, "You can expect to be treated with friendliness, patience, honesty and respect." I hope they throw the book at this group. They are NOT good citizens and not welcome by me. I'm so glad they were caught.

You all have great points. Actually, sandym, the cost went up last year (or earlier this year) and is now $2000. Great job, MCSO! We ALL probably have grounds to sue the Fed, the state and city for discrimination if anyone had the money.

OK, one less illegal, what about all the other millions that are here? It's not fair to all of us that did things the right way, wait our turn, pay the fees, pass medical exam, etc etc to immigrate here. If we want to become US citizens, it costs $700 and you also have to pass a criminal background check and the exam. If I want to peticion my sister in South America to come here legally it not only costs $500 - $600 but there is a 15 YEAR WAIT !!!!!!!!!!! We, the legal greencard holders should sue for discrimination since all the illegals are free to roam. What happened to igual rights???

Badguy1271 - 7/1/2009 8:48 AM
They should take all that he earned, the money, cars, houses, business, and give it to the dead guy's family. Then deport him! lol

You haven't seen nothing yet government run heath care for illegal aliens..............75% of the children who will be picked up in this will be non-citizens and that 44% of the uninsured are non-citizens and they can't possibly allow the American people to know this." .......................http://directorblue.blogspot.com/2009/06/red-alert-la-raza-if-american-people.html ..........................And La Raza said if they get this, they don't even care about amnesty, because they've fixed it so that one family member can apply for all extended family members................."If the American people find out that this bill is about giving health care to non-citizens, they will rise up against it."
