A Texas man was booked into a Mohave County jail when he refused to submit to an alcohol test after being stopped in his boat at Lake Havasu.

Sean K. Ryon, 45 of Argyle, Texas was also ticketed for creating an excessive wake in Thompson Bay Saturday night, according to a Monday news release.

According to the report, deputies stopped Ryon after they saw his boat creating an excessive wake.

The deputies reportedly smelled alcohol on Ryon, but he told them he had not been drinking.

After taking a field sobriety test, Ryon was taken into custody and then taken to another location where he refused to submit to a breath analysis.
