One of the more important local issues facing Flagstaff won't be decided at the polls Tuesday, but rather at City Hall.
Tonight the Flagstaff City Council is expected to weigh-in on a solution for train horn noise.
It's a plan that would range in cost from nearly $900,000 to about $4 million depending on the solution.
Councilmembers will look at plans for eastside wayside horns and downtown quiet zones.
The latest proposal was unveiled last week by two east Flagstaff homeowners.
Roughly 130 trains pass through Flagstaff daily.
