PRESCOTT -- Prescott is raising water and sewer impact fees on July 11.
The Prescott City Council approved the higher fees last October and reaffirmed that decision last month.
The increase will add about $2,235 to the $11,841 homebuilders currently pay in fees for an average-size new home.
The city collects impact fees to cover the cost of water and sewer improvements to serve new growth.
City officials say they will lock in current impact fee rates for all completed applications submitted by 4 p.m. July 10.
