HACKBERRY, AZ – A Northern Arizona woman has been charged with attempted murder after she allegedly shot her boyfriend multiple times nine days ago.
According to a Mohave County Sheriff's Office press release, Mia Marie Robb, 41, got into an argument with her boyfriend on June 21st, and shot him several times at their home about 25 miles northeast of Kingman.
Robb drove her boyfriend, 47-year-old Kurt Allen Sanders, to Kingman Regional Medical Center to be treated for his gunshot wounds. Sanders, who at the time was listed in serious condition, was airlifted from the hospital to Sunrise Medical Center in Las Vegas, according to the press release.
Deputies arrived at Kingman Regional Medical Center and questioned Robb and determined that she was drunk.
According to the release, "An analysis of Robb's blood alcohol concentration (BAC) was determined to be 1.70 percent."
Robb was taken into custody without incident and transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail on charges of DUI, DUI with a BAC over .08 percent, and extreme DUI with a BAC over .15 percent.
After her release from jail, detectives said they had determined Robb intended to kill Sanders.
On Saturday, Yavapai County Sheriff's Deputies arrested her again, this time for attempted murder and two counts of aggravated assault.
She is currently awaiting extradition to Mohave County.
On Tuesday, the Mohave County Sheriff's Office announced that Sanders had been upgraded to good condition at Sunrise Medical Center.
