This happens on both sides of the mountain, car haulers, fuel trucks, its been none stop sence they shut the pass to hoover dam. Get them trucks to stay on 40, they are tearing up our roads and killing people.

You would think a 67 Y.O. driver would know to use lower gears especially with a LIQUID LOAD. The 68 and the 87 and 260 to Payson have the same precautions.. If drivers REALLY want to learn mountain roads they should try the 60 between Globe and Showlow in the middle of winter. If they can do that without putting on chains, then I think they know how to handle a BIGRIG. I really wonder where some of these drivers have learned to drive?? Kalsh---You know what I'm talkin bout.

reminded me of this from the simpsons Barney approaches some giant woman-shaped bottles of syrup. "Excuse me, ma'am," he asks, "Where are the lampshades?" When she doesn't answer, he rocks the bottle, "Ma'am?" It topples over, spilling syrup out of her head with a glugging noise. "Oh, I've killed her!" Barney laments, "It's all happening again!" He runs off crying, straight into a stack of cranberry juice bottles. They smash to the floor, creating a giant wave of red. Barney runs away from it as it splashes down the aisle where Apu and Marge stand. Barney gets swamped, as does another customer who can't swim. "Help me, help me!" he cries, going under for the third time, but he reaches out and grabs a floating bottle, and as he comes up for air, he licks his lips. "Mmm...it's cran-tastic!"

Heavy loads like that require extra care in loading and driving.Supertruckers dont think this applies to them though.Livenlearn.
