Oh oh, should I retract my last comments? I've just done some investigating on my own and have heard other claims that are nothing what I have thought to be true. If this is all true against these two women, then, I'm totally with the negative comments. One caller said the older lady owned a landscaping business and was taken advantage of. Sorry if I'm unaware of this latest finding. Hate to believe I was that scammed also but each of us have a learning lesson to learn. Wish our media was more up to the challenge to make the public more aware to keeping us more informed. Sorry, media, but we can't do it on our own. We trust the best, we can only speculate.

Well, I can't understand what exactly these women did so terribly wrong. The news in my opinion isn't very clear on what happened? How sick were those dogs and do you wonder if the women were blind to the proper procedure to selling pets? I for one know how animals, dogs and cats, are abandoned at whim for whatever reason and it sure bothers me. We live in Golden Valley also and have animals dropped off on our property for hopes of giving them homes once found. I'm a sucker for that, but, those animals didn't ask for this one bit. It's very sad and sickens me. We don't have much income , but, I won't blink an eye and turn my back on a defenseless animal. I've been listening to hear from the news if these women intentionally torture or mistreat any of those animals in any way and as of yet, don't know all the facts. Last year when my Spaniel was laying on her death bed, and after numerous calls to vets for comfort, and none received, called the "puppy mill" and talked to the older lady and she had the kindest most valuable advice I've ever gotten from anyone. She told me my Sully would let me know when the time should come and that lady and I talked over an hour. My Sully was an old dog and I've had her since she was 5 weeks old. She was going to be drowned by her previous owner because he said he couldn't be bothered. Sully lived till the age of 14 thanks to me. Anyway, until anyone can give me more information about this puppy mill, would be great for me to hear and just to help me understand more of what is really going on. Is it possible this "puppy mill" just got too much they could handle? As for me, have been feeding a stray cat that I saw this couple dump off on my property over 6 months ago. I would have taken him or her in as my own pet but she is too fearful and I think it's because of animal cruelty, but now as of 2 days ago, see her siblings here for food also. They are cared for because of me. Yet, now have collars on as of 2 days ago.

what I dont understand is why some of you keep these puppy slaughter mills in business. the demand is there from YOU so these puppy mills continue to exist. i adopted to MUTTS from a no kill shelter and they are the two healthiest/mentally stable dogs one could ask for. these puppy mill animals are so inbred that intelligence is sometimes gened out. i bought an English Springer Spaniel in 1990, it was the most insane dog, untrainable and always sick. "Charlie" died of old age in 2002 but my money will always advocate for the mutts of the world. Dont keep these designer dog mills in business. Go to the shelter and adopt a dog that no-one wants.

Don't you hate people so greedy that they lie and cheat others and have no feelings for animals? I hope they are never allowed to be around any more animals again.

God, why do people do this? Don't people know there's far too many unwanted dogs and cats that people can't take care of in pounds all over the country? This is just so sick! I'm glad they're caught and hope they throw the book at them.

We purchased a dog from them over a year ago and it got sick within twenty four hours on a holiday. We called them and they gave us the run around. We took them to court to be repayed for the vet bills and lost. They claimed that they were not a puppy mill. They lied to the court under oath. Now that this is out in the open about them.I will see if we can take them back to court for perjury. these woman need to be fined heavely and kept from ever working with any animals.

I ALSO LIVE IN GOLDON VALEY AND PURCHASED A DOG FDROM THESE CRIMINALS. WITHIN 24 HOURS MY DOG BECAME ILL. I HAVE TO BRING THE DOG TO VET ASAP AND THEN IN TURN TOOK THESE "SO CALLED LADIES" TO COURT. THEY BOTH ARE LIARS, THIEVES AND WORST OF ALL KILLERS. I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THEM IN PRISON WITH NO FOOD, WATER AND MEDICAL ATTENTION TO SEE WHAT IT FEELS LIKE . SHUT DOWN K & S BEFORE WE SEE AND/OR HEAR ABOUT MORE ANIMALS BEING MISS TREATED. WE ALL A LOT OF ELDERLY LIVING IN THE AREA AND ARE ON FIXED INCOME AND ARE LOOKING FOR AN ANIMAL FOR COMPANY AND THEY DO NOT HAVE THE FUNDS TO KEEP BRINGING ANIMALS TO THE VET. I HOPE WE WILL SOON SEE JUSTICE.
