LAKE HAVASU CITY, AZ – Officials say a man died after he was injured in an ATV accident in northern Arizona.
Deputies with the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of an ATV accident involving a group of all-terrain vehicle riders Wednesday.
Leonard Eisenman, 59, of Lake Havasu City, was reportedly riding in a desert area with friends when he and his passenger, his wife Linda Thomas, 58, rode up a steep hill on their ATV and fell backwards once they reached the top.
Deputies received a call around 3:45 p.m. from the group requesting medical assistance, according to authorities.
Eisenman was airlifted to the Sunrise Medical Center in Las Vegas and later pronounced dead.
Thomas was transported to the Havasu Regional Medical Center where she was treated for cuts and abrasions.
The accident is currently under investigation.
