BULLHEAD CITY, AZ -- Authorities say police made a number of drug busts in Bullhead City Friday, arresting six and seizing drugs, guns and cash.
Police spokeswoman Emily Montague said in a statement that detectives learned of a drug deal to be made on Friday in a Bullhead City parking lot.
Two alleged drug dealers were arrested. They were identified as Alexis Nazario-Negron, 24, and Pedro Flores Ayala, 29, both from Las Vegas.
Police said that as SWAT detectives moved in on Nazario-Negron, he allegedly threw over a pound of methamphetamine out of his car window.
Both suspects face a number of drug-related charges.
Police learned that additional drugs were being stored at a Bullhead City home where they found 12 ounces of methamphetamine, three handguns, and approximately $10,000 in cash.
Surveillance units at the house saw a vehicle leave before a search warrant was served and when officers pulled the vehicle over they arrested Ricardo Antonio Alarcon, 26 of Las Vegas and 21-year-old Fernando Tapia Quinones of Bullhead City.
They also face drug-related charges, as well as a weapons charge.
Montague said a Bullhead City apartment was also searched where police found two pounds of marijuana, pipes, a digital scale, drug pay sheet and a marijuana grinder.
Police arrested 29-year-old Frank Contreras and his girlfriend, Nicole Irene Childs, 20. Their 2-month-old child was also in the apartment.
They face drug-related charges, as well as child abuse.
Montague said all six suspects were booked into the Mohave County Jail in Kingman.
